Luxe Lakefront Villa w/ Dock, Hot Tub & Fire Pit

Encore is such a lovely, well-outfitted house, with the BEST view on Lake Nantahala, that I almost don't want to tell anyone about it! This was our second summer at the house, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Beautiful decor, great layout for a multi-age family group, lots of spots to hide away with a book or to gather together for meals and hanging out. Love the game table, the ping-pong and darts, the endless water activities, the firepit! Craig is a great host -- responsive, helpful, always pleasant to communicate with. It was very hard to leave!

Once again, Craig's spot on Lake Nantahala never disappoints. This is our third year using Craig's place. Always well kept. Super clean. Very relaxing. It you have the opportunity to stay here, make sure you do. We can't wait to come back next summer!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was perfect with more than enough room for our family of five and all the things for enjoying lake life and more -- not to mention the beautiful view from every window! We rented a boat at the nearby marina, hiked on the nearby AT, fished, and spent time playing darts and lounging in the hot tub and by the fire. Craig was an exceptional host, answering all our questions and making sure our stay was going well. I cannot recommend Encore at Nantahala enough!

The house was nicely decorated, well laid out. There were only 2 of us, but the home can definitely accommodate a much larger group and have plenty of room. Lots of spaces to gather and enjoy the view. Hiked over to the little marina and rented a boat - nice hike and nice boat ride ( great prices too by the way). Our week was mostly rainy, but we didn’t mind at all- the view was gorgeous and we enjoyed being snuggled in by the fireplace or warming up in the hot tub.

This is such a nicely laid-out and well-outfitted family vacation house - and with a strong dose of excellent contemporary interior and architectural design to top it off! Our multi-generational family group of 12 agreed that this is our favorite of the Nantahala lake houses we’ve rented over the years. Starts with a fantastic view from several layers of decks and seating areas, and can’t beat the dock or the elegant yet comfy common areas. Such friendly, responsive hosts, too, who have thought about having items like a good blender, a drink fridge (hallelujah!), and a pancake griddle available. Really enjoyed our stay!
